The Family Tour

At KHATTS We recognize the importance of the family as a cohesive unit. We have attempted to put a fun family day together. On this trip we visit some of the very unique and spectacular sites on the island, like the amazing Ti Tou Gorge one of the Caribbean's most dramatic and exciting places of interest. the Freshwater Lake in the cloud forest, for kayaking or boating, then the Trafalgar Falls with natural hot springs oozing out of the ground with temperatures of over 104 degrees F'.

Ater the Freshwater Lake, we proceed the the Ti Tou Gorge which must be seen to be believed, if you have kids they will have the time of their lives, "It Dosen,t Get Much Better Than This !!". Ti Tou Gorge was one of the sites used if the shooting of Pirates Of The Caribbean 2.

Even if you are not strong swimmers our guides will help you to enjoy this "must do adventure" we will provide you with floatation devices and use a life ring to assist anyone who need a little help. Since we have started this tour, the reviews have been only positive.



Who would not want to see their kids with expressions like these on their faces?. After the Ti Tou Gorge, we stop for a local lunch to energize you before we proceed to the Trafalgar Falls.

The Trafalgar Falls are two of the islands most popular waterfalls, especially so because of the slaubrious hot springs waiting to sooth your aching limbs.



From the view point of the Trafalgar Falls, we descend to to the Hot Springs where you can relax and enjoy the wonders of nature running wild and free. The perfect way to end your day.

We just returned from our Carnival Cruise and we have to say our KHATTS tour in Dominica was the best part of our vacation. My wife and our 4 1/2 year old daughter took the KHATTS "Family Tour" and we had a blast! our KHATTS tour guide "Elvis" was absolutely the best.

I highly recommend asking for him on your tour. Elvis was very knowledgeable about everything in Dominica. The Family Tour started with a nice drive through the botanical gardens and then up the mountains for some kayaking in Cloud Lake. Next, my family and I took a 10 minute hike in the rainforest until we reached Titou Gorge was was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

The hike and swim was not too difficult for our 4 year old and she loved the excitement of the "treasure hunt" we told her we were on. The swim itself in the gorge is something you will remember for the rest of your life.

After the gorge, we had a very delicious lunch at a local Dominica restaurant that was set on the river. We were pleasantly surprised with the food quality. Next, we headed towards Trafalgar Falls (mom and dad waterfalls) and loved those as well.

Our daughgter's favorite part was sitting in the hot spring water which was the perfect hot tub temperature of around 102 degrees. It was an amazing day and we could not have been more pleased. I would absolutely recommend this tour for families as our 4 year old had NO trouble at all getting around.

The memories we made will last forever. The guide we had was very professional and friendly and went out of his way to make our tour simply amazing. of our 7 day cruise to the Eastern Carib.
